The Stables Café, with its sun drenched outdoor seating, relaxed charm and heritage listed original stables, is the perfect spot for a lazy brunch, an exceptional morning coffee or an afternoon sojourn with a glass of wine.
As evening sets in, Bobby’s Bar beckons, a sophisticated, space where local wines, artisan spirits and craft beers are served with a smile and a bit of Pete's colourful humour. The walls are adorned with local art and it is the ideal place to settle in and let the evening unfold.
Upstairs, the accommodation is simply gorgeous. Each room is thoughtfully styled, blending vintage art deco elegance with modern comfort. Bobbys celebrates vinous adventurers, brewers and distillers and offers something to suit every palate and budget.
We source small batch, artisan, craft and alternative varietals from the smallest of makers who create truly unique drinks, and serve them in relaxed, sophisticated surroundings.
You can rest and repose in absolute comfort and old world elegance, in the heart of Ballarat.
Choose our stunning three bedroom, two bathroom Prime Minister's suite complete with kitchenette and lounge, or select our one bedroom, Leaderof the Opposition suitable for singles or couples.

Great weekend getaway hour and a half from Melbourne. The apartment was beautifully appointed and comfortable. Staff were helpful and food at the downstairs restaurant Vesta x Jigs was amazing, then breakfast next day at the Stables Cafe (a free coffee for guests). Highly recommend this as a mini break or overnighter.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would have. The Lamb Rump and Beef Wellington were amazing. And the chef’s home made focaccia and home churned butter was next level. Can highly recommend."

The chef here really knows how to get the best out of local produce. I have also been back for breakfast at the cafe - black pudding - now that's a breakfast."
